Department Introduction
Since it was founded in 1998, the department has been training daycare and kindergarten teachers who can help children develop fully, as well as social welfare workers who support young ones marginalized from the society+.
In the era when the daycares and kindergartens are becoming integrated, the department provides comprehensive childcare education for professionals to work in Yeoju, Icheon, and Yangpyeong areas.
Department Features
- The students obtain three national licenses (kindergarten teacher (10%), daycare teacher, and social welfare worker (all students) to enhance their employment competitiveness
- Hub of infant and child care education in Yeoju, Incheon, and Yangpyeong areas (consigned supplemental teaching education, consigned workplace daycares on campus)
- 120 credits during the 3-year program; students obtain immediate employment (in kindergartens and daycares) upon graduation; students can obtain a 4-year bachelor's degree (140 credits) if they achieve 20 more credits
